Thunderstorm
Looming darkness gathered around
Clouding the dusky evening sky
Parallel shift from the bright and beautiful
To dark, grey and angry
With every distant rumble of thunder
And piercing lines of lightening
Growing nearer and stronger
With every breeze blowing harder
An impending downpour of a thunderstorm
Much like a looming wrath that she tried to contain
Then the clouds break out and it starts to pour
And with it she tries to wash away
An eternity of pain and anger
And break-free like a thunder cloud
A yearning to feel fresh and innocent
Like a dew drop from the after shower
Magical, mysterious and ever so infinite
Like a rainbow over the clear blue skies
And so with every passing storm
She washes away a part of an inner storm
Yet when looming clouds come crashing by
She always chose to never pass them by
Only to gather a few moments and memories
Of magic and mystery and dew drops and rainbows
But with every storm she withered
Many a lesson was learnt and unlearned
That with every storm she chased
And every storm she withered
For the fewest of moments
She kept loosing farthest of herself
